Seven Star pharmacists
1. Care giver
pharmacists as service providers in the form of chemical, analytical, technical, according to the legislation. In providing services, pharmacists must interact with patients in individual or group. Pharmacists have to integrate its services on a sustainable health service system and pharmacy services produced should be high quality.
2. Decision-makers basing their work on pharmacists, cost-effective and efficient against the use of resources such as human resources, drugs, chemicals, equipment, procedures, services, etc.. To achieve these objectives the ability and skills of pharmacists need to be measured, then the results used as basis in determining the necessary education and training.
3. Communicator
pharmacists have an important position in dealing with patients and other health professions, therefore must have good communication skills. Communication includes verbal communication, nonverbal, listening and writing skills by using language as needed.
4. Leader
pharmacists are expected to have the ability to become leaders. Leadership is expected to include the courage to take decisions that empathy and effective, and the ability to communicate and manage the resolution.
5. Manager
pharmacists should be effective in manage resources (human, physical, budget) and information, also must be able to lead and lead others in the health care team. Pharmacists should respond to technological
progress and willing to share information on drug and matters relating to the drug.
6. Life-long learner
pharmacists should be pleased to learn from the college and ensure that the expertise and skills are always new (up-date) in professional practice. Pharmacists should also learn an effective way.
7. Teacher
pharmacists have a responsibility to educate future generations.
